Brussels, Belgium city info:
Brussels, officially the capital of Belgium, grew from a small rural settlement on the river Senne to become an important city-region in Europe. Since the end of the Second World War, it has been a major center for international politics and home to numerous international organizations, politicians, diplomats, and civil servants. Brussels is the de facto capital of the European Union, as it hosts a number of principal EU institutions.
Brussels is known for its cuisine and gastronomy, as well as its historical and architectural landmarks; some of them are registered as UNESCO World Heritage sites. Main attractions include its historic Grand Place, Manneken Pis, Atomium, and cultural institutions such as La Monnaie/De Munt and the Museums of Art and History. Due to its long tradition of Belgian comics, Brussels is also hailed as the capital of the comic strip. Wikipedia
Brussels is known for its local waffle, its chocolate, its French fries, and its numerous types of beers. Belgian cuisine is known among connoisseurs as one of the best in Europe. Wikipedia

ZO ART CONVERGENCE
SPONSORS, CONTRIBUTORS, and ARTISTS in all Creative Disciplines.
CULTURAL BRUSSELS | Art Nouveau in Brussels
The early Art Nouveau designers in Brussels created not only art and architecture but also furniture, glassware, carpets, and even clothing and other decoration to match. Some of Brussels’ municipalities, such as Schaerbeek, Etterbeek, Ixelles, and Saint-Gilles, were developed during the heyday of Art Nouveau and have many buildings in that style.
After 1900, the style gradually became more formal and geometric. The final Art Nouveau landmark in Brussels was the Stoclet Palace by the Austrian architect Josef Hoffmann (1905–11), now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which marked the transition to a more geometric and formal style and the birth of Art Deco and early modernism.
In spite of Brussels’ city planning free-for-all between the end of the Second World War and the late 1960s, Brussels still has more than 500 Art Nouveau buildings.

Creativity is the ability to bring thought into existence.
ZO absolutely believes that everyone has a measure of creativity and that by applying it to every area of our lives, massive change is possible. We encourage all that we meet to reflect on these inner abilities and to develop creatively as much as you are able.
By supporting our efforts through this sponsorship campaign, you are allowing us to connect to more creative souls and we are thrilled to make all of these connections on the basis of our planet’s geography. We believe that this is a connection of the heart.
Whether your sponsorship is for yourself, for your creative business enterprise, or for a Hero or Shero that is still with us (or In Celebration of one who has gone before), we believe in the eternal spirit of all that we do. What has been done before, affects us, and what we will do will affect the next generations. Thank you so much for your support. We wish you an overflow of creativity!
