About the artist:
A teacher of 25 years, when Charmaine Friday isn’t in the classroom, she can be found displaying her artwork at countless craft shows across the island. Through her public murals, which many visitors and locals call “happy art”, she hopes to brighten and enhance the city of Hamilton.

Hamilton was founded and named after Sir Henry Hamilton who served as a Governor of Bermuda since 1788 to 1794. The city is filled with historic buildings, museums, shops, galleries, churches, parks and gardens every step of the way, which are all set alongside a beautiful natural harbour to give the city a character of it’s own.
