Brazil is found in the UTC (-)05 Time ZOne

Time zones are indicated in their difference to the Universal Time Coordinated (UTC). In Brazil, these zones range from UTC-2 to UTC-5. The largest and best known is “Brasilia Time” (UTC-3), in which the metropolises of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and the capital Brasilia are located. By far the most Brazilians live in this region. To the west is the Amazon time zone (UTC-4), which does not extend to the far west. Near the border with Peru, there is a much smaller zone in the state of Acre with UTC-5. For purposes of trying to balance our creative connections more evenly among regions, ZO is grouping Brazil under UTC-5.
