“Koala Kisses”
Taken at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the few places in Australia where you can actually hold a koala.
Lisa and Chris Ridings have been friends of ZO since nearly its inception. They are both extraordinary professional photographers with absolutely stunning shots of their travels around the world. In addition to allowing us to use their work in our experimental collaborative media presentations, they are dear, dear e-friends and we look forward to one day gathering all of our ZO collaborators to share a meal and a real life hug – lol . . .

Info
Currently living in Auckland NZ, I grew up in Texas and spent the majority of my life in the Austin and Dallas areas.
I met my kiwi husband in 2007 through our photography and in 2008, I moved to Auckland, New Zealand, where I currently reside. We both love tramping in the bush and taking photos. So whenever we get a chance, we head out in some direction to see what we can find.
For me, photography hasn’t always been about getting the perfect shot or the perfect lighting, it is about stealing or capturing moments in time. With all the fascinating things that surround us, I wanted to be able to share with my friends the things that I get to see. Since I have always enjoyed the outdoors many of my photos are nature related. I enjoy photographing everything and we do travel some, so there is no telling what you might see here in my photostream.
I am intrigued and thankful to all, who’s photos have inspired me to learn more about photography. There is so much available, that it sometimes makes my head swim. I appreciate any constructive criticism and welcome any suggestions to improve a photo.
So if you wonder why I’ve uploaded something here, that might not be up to par….there was a reason at the time. It simply could have been to show a friend something ridiculous.
Please enjoy the photos here, but don’t use them anywhere without my permission.
Smile at a stranger, it might brighten both of your days.
