Mohamad Fahs is a 25-year-old writer from Lebanon who was born and lived in Dubai for 23 years. Mohamad has been exposed to over 100 nationalities that inspired his love for writing and directing documentaries that emphasize humanitarian stories. His poetry and writing stems from a place of emotion. Be it sadness or happiness, if it moves him, it shall be written.
He has taught Sylvia Plath’s ‘The Bell Jar’ at a University course, and much like her, he draws most of his inspiration from pain.
Mohamad has worked in politics for 2 years covering the war in Syria. He launched an English as well as a Kurdish news bulletin to broadcast Syria’s tragedy in as many languages as possible. His goal is to always tell the story, whether through poetry, short stories, or film. He believes everyone has the right to tell the world their emotions.
